starting something new

how it all began

in the very beginning, it was just an idea in a warm summer night in berlin. An idea that made us sitting down on the balcony, launch a simple website and register a business online. but we soon realised: We love what we do and we are actually very good at it - so we decided to become serious about it. The story went from this little balcony to a co-working space and eventually to our very first office and a team of eight amazing people. And we are still just getting started.

our company culture

freedom, fun & participation

creating great new ideas and concepts on a daily basis is a huge challenge that can only be tackled within the best possible sorroundings. this is why we believe in a company culture that is defined by individual ownership and responsibility as well as the freedom to shape this company in a way that suits the individual interests and needs of each and every team member the best. This is one of the most important guiding objectives when it comes to the development of somethingcreative - creating the best possible environment for great minds to find professional fulfilment and constant improvement.

our rules of work

Make yourself replaceable

Of course, nobody here is replaceable. But we try anyways. We build our company around processes, value and goals, not around people. So everything you create, learn or establish should still be here and work without you. Always ask yourself: What would happen if I am run over by a bus tomorrow? Will the company continue running successfully or will it go to hospital with me?

Take full ownership

You are never "a bit responsible". The task assigned to you is your task until its done. If it remains undone or is not executed correctly, thats your responsibility. Full ownership means that there are no excuses. If it rains you get wet - that's part of the process. If you realize you can not accomplish a task yourself, full ownership means that you should ask the right person for support. It definitely does NOT mean that you are in this alone.

Challenge everything and believe in change

Everybody who is part of our team is here for a reason. If we had believed that we are perfect already, we had not gotten you on board in the first place. You are here because we believe you make our team stronger. That means you need to bring change to the team. You can only do so if you do not just join us doing things like we have always done them.

Take the freedom you need to be great at what you do

We are best at what we do if we have the perfect state of mind for the tasks we work on. Of course, this state of mind cannot be triggered by pushing a button. But we constantly work on understanding ourselves better and what it takes to be happy and successful at tackling our everyday challenges. This also comes with demanding and taking the freedom you need to achieve this. If a walk in the forest or half an hour of meditation is what it takes, you should go out there or sit down and close your eyes.

Talk about what you think and how you feel

We are all great people but probably still lack the ability to read each other's minds. That's why communication is key - open and honestly. If something makes you unhappy, it will not change if you keep it to yourself. If something makes you happy, it probably makes others happy too if you share it.

Embrace the fear

You might be faced with challenges that you consider to be too big for you. In the first place, it might scare you. You might doubt yourself, ask yourself if you are good enough to tackle it. If thats the case, you are just in the right place - at the threshold of your comfort zone where executing what you are good at anyways ends and true learning begins.
